With roots planted deep in the south, this Atlanta native discovered her love of art at a very early age. Taking art classes throughout high school and college provided the necessary background for her expertise today. During the years following, Bonnie graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Advertising/Public Relations, married long-time beau, Bob Wrublesky, and had three children, Jenny, Donnie and Meg. Throughout the years, art always remained a strong passion for Bonnie. After moving to Arkansas in 1985, it wasn’t long before many took notice of the talented artist, and she found her many forms of artwork in high demand. Bonnie has worked as a decorative artist for 30 years, specializing in faux finishing and murals in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and around the country working alongside her business partner, Sheila Roscoe.
Following decades of climbing scaffolding, painting ceiling murals, and other physically taxing projects, Bonnie has recently moved into a new phase of her work, creating fine art of the things she finds inspirational. She has also done many commissioned pieces for clients. Believing that it is never too late to learn, she continues to develop her style in an effort to best use the gift God has given her by studying with a local award-winning artist and plein air painter, Hugh Donnahoe, and online with artists including Kathleen Broderick and Angela Nesbit.
